NovaCentrix is pleased to announce that its Metalon® ICI-020 Copper-Oxide Reduction electrically-conductive screen ink has been recognized by AIMCAL in the Materials category of the Technology of the Year competition. NovaCentrix Chief Scientist Dr. Kurt Schroder accepted the award at the recent AIMCAL March Management Meeting 2011 held at The Boulder Resort in Carefree, Arizona.

In the award notification, AIMCAL explained “The cost-saving potential for the growing printed electronics market captured the interest of the judges.” “Copper makes printed electronics much more attractive,” said one judge, noting, “It could broaden the use of RFID tags to lower-cost products.” Commenting on the award, Stan Farnsworth, VP Marketing said “We are excited and honored at this recognition, which is consistent with the interest and comments we have received from the marketplace.”
